A LOCAL restaurant has teamed up with a church to help raise funds for its restoration appeal.
The Balti Palace in Wombwell will host the event later this month, with tickets set at £15 - and the profits will go to St Mary’s Church in Wombwell.
Eddie Harper, who has helped organise the event, said it’s a great chance for the community to get together and support one another.
He added: “The Balti Palace is putting on a charity event on April 29 which is a Monday.
“The tickets are £15 and £5 from every meal will be going to St Mary’s Church.
“We’re hoping to raise £500 for them - it’s a great cause.
“Please get behind the church and Balti Palace, you can buy the tickets there, at Retro Fitness and The Prince of Wales pub.”
