A YOUNG photographer’s work has been chosen to appear in BBC programme Countryfile’s calendar.
Taken earlier in the year, Harrison Hall’s picture - showing a mother otter catching a fish on the Isle of Mull off Scotland - caught the eye of judges in this year’s photography competition.
It was chosen as February’s image in the calendar.
Harrison, from Redbrook, told the Chronicle: “We were just on a holiday trip as I’d always wanted to go.
“I’d found this family of otters - I took this picture and managed to capture the moment the otter caught the fish.
“The weather really made it though as they’re rough waters.
“I’ve never won anything in photography before.
“It’s brilliant to have this now.”
The calendar is now available to buy from the BBC’s website, with all profits made going to Children in Need.
