A QUESTION mark hangs over the future of Blacker Hill Community Hub after it was revealed Forge Community Partnership staff who are running it will be transferred to council employment at the end of December.
The centre, which provides services including a post office, job club and playgroup, has been under threat amid concerns about a lack of local interest and funding issues.
In September, Forge committed £20,000 to the continued running of the centre but since then the community partnership has lost a council contract to run children’s centres in the area.
