WHEN asked why they came to school, children at Barugh Green said they came to have fun.
And that is something headteacher Michael Gilmore speaks about with pride.
It has been shortlisted in the School of the Year category in the Proud of Barnsley awards.
Mr Gilmore added: “We know where we are going, we have a strategy, we’re focussed and nothing will throw us off achieving what we feel we need to achieve.”
