CHAINSAW artist Steve Tarr has worked his magic on a tree stump left behind following foliage clearing work on the Trans-Pennine Trail at Thurlstone.
He has created a golden eagle at a location near Leapings Lane, which has already attracted a lot of attention from walkers.
Steve is working with a volunteer group working on the Trans Pennine Trail which has been working over the winter to clear damaged trees to allow more light onto the trail, in the hope of promoting wild flower growth.
The tree stump was left behind and formed the basis for his latest work.
