SHE may have fallen at the final hurdle, but X-Factor's Abby Eades has vowed to continue with the New Girls and come back stronger than ever.

The band, formed by the judges, was sent home by Louis Walsh last weekend after auditioning with Say Something at his Bermuda home.

But despite her heartbreak, Abby, 18, of Hampole Drive, Thurnscoe, and her band mates are giving it a shot on their own - and may even audition next year.

Now she's back in the borough, Abby is also determined to carry on being Cheryl in the tribute band Girlz Aloud but said the band - also made up of Leah Gooden, Abi Garrido and Saffron Silva - would be her priority.

"It's been a roller-coaster experience, but an amazing one. I wouldn't change anything in the world. It's been amazing and I've met four fantastic girls and made a lot of new friends.
