ONE of the country’s most celebrated actresses will be coming to the Lamproom Theatre for ‘an evening with’ event.

Sherrie Hewson, famed for her roles in Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Benidorm, will arrive in the town on July 6.

Also, as a panellist on Loose Women for 14 years, Sherrie has built a reputation for her natural ability to entertain and has kept audiences laughing for countless decades.

A spokesperson for the Lamproom said: “From her early appearances in such iconic television programmes as Within These Walls, Juliet Bravo and Play for Today, to performing in Russ Abbott’s Madhouse, In Loving Memory and Carry on Laughing, Sherrie’s natural talent for comedy made her a popular foil for various comic icons during this period, including Stanley Baxter and Les Dawson.
