A BARNSLEY man is on the lookout for someone to help publish his first three books.

Dennis Baker, 64, of the town centre, has never released a book before - but he’s written three and he’s asking for the public’s help.

Whether it be someone to help edit the writing or somebody with links to the publishing industry, Dennis has issued a plea.

He told the Chronicle: “I’ve written three books.

“One is a science fiction on, the other is about a cat that was adopted by our local church and another is about an old man who used to go to Peru.

“I’ve had some children read it and they’re constantly laughing.

“I’ve never written any books before - I’m not an author I’m just someone with an imagination.

“I’m looking for someone to help edit it and hopefully it’ll then go to a publisher.

“I think it’ll be good for the town of Barnsley if we’re able to get these books out there.”
