SILKSTONE United lost their final game of the County Senior Premier Division season and now face a nervous wait to discover if they will slip into the relegation zone.

After losing 2-1 at home to second-placed Hemsworth MW, Silkstone, who were promoted last season, are two places and two points clear of the bottom three.

But the two sides directly below them – Jubilee Sports and AFC Dronfield – each have two games to play and are one and two points behind respectively.

Three teams are due to go down as it stands but that could be reduced due to a restructuring of the leagues if necessary.

Wombwell Main won 1-0 home to Hepworth United and moved up to third with two league games left as well as a cup semi-final.

Archie Howell, 16, scored the last-minute winner.

Dodworth MW won 1-0 at Jubilee Sports and are now sixth with three games still to play.

Barnsley Town lost 2-1 at Sheffield Union in Division One.

They have played all their games and will finish eighth having won one of the last 11 games they have played.

North Gawber reserves won 5-1 over Wombwell Town reserves in Division Two.
