Coach Tom Kittrick said: “Great result and great performance. Their coach said afterwards it was night and day from the performance we put in against them earlier in the season. It’s the first time this season that everything just came together. We really dominated from the off.

“It was by far the best performance of the season which is not just because of the score but because of the attitude and workrate.

“We’ve got two massive games up next.

“If we can win them that should pull us well up and we won’t be looking over our shoulder in the last four games.”

Wath were given a home walkover after lowly Bridlington did not field a team in Yorkshire Division One.

Wath are now sixth with 34 points from 16 games. They hosts leaders North Ribblesdale on Saturday.
