Boxer Rosie Christy put in an impressive performance to win on Tuesday night at the Metrodome.

The youngster from Brampton club Micky’s Athletic was in a barnstorming fight with LA’s Harper Moore to take a unanimous decision.

It was a gruelling battle between the two girls who both went for victory with all that they had.

Christy was well on top by the end with her opponent getting ragged and being forced to hold.

Host club Micky’s had four boxers involved in skills bouts including a local derby between Millie Welham and Barnsley BA’s Frankie Cooper.

That proved an entertaining clash of styles.

Louie Kerry battled a southpaw in Thomas Burneside of Chesterfield.

Charlie Chambers took on KBW’s Jimmy McDonagh and Nial Connell faced King’s Jay Bennett.

Skills bouts are just for experience with there being no official result.
