Hello, Reds. I want to extend our thanks to every one of you for your unwavering support, especially last week with three matches in seven days.

Your passion drives us forward, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

Special recognition must go to head groundsman Dave Anderson and his team, whose tireless work ensured the men’s first team could train despite challenging winter conditions. Likewise, our ticketing staff deserve immense credit for managing the high demand around half-season and flexi tickets. Their commitment plays a crucial role in ensuring our matchdays run smoothly.

Community remains at the heart of Barnsley FC. I’m proud to announce the return of the Rucksack Project this December, in partnership with Barnsley FC Community Trust.

On December 21, during our fixture against Leyton Orient, we’ll host a donation drive to support those facing homelessness. Over 324,000 households were assessed as owed a homelessness duty in the past year – staggering numbers that highlight the importance of this initiative. We encourage fans to bring rucksacks filled with essentials to the Community Trust reception.

Every contribution matters and, together, we can make a real difference.

I’m thrilled to share a special ticket offer designed to make Oakwell more accessible for all against Orient.

Prices are reduced across all areas of the stadium, and we’re also offering a £28 family ticket (two adults and two under 14s) – a fantastic way to bring families together at our final game before Christmas Day.

This initiative reflects our commitment to strengthening the connection between the club and our community, ensuring everyone has the chance to experience the passion of matchday during the festive period.

It’s also an exciting time for Barnsley FC on the global stage. This week our match against Wrexham was part of the EFL’s first immersive broadcast experience in the United States, thanks to a partnership with CBS Sports and Cosm. This innovative technology saw the game projected onto the 180-degree domed screens in venues across Los Angeles and Dallas.

Being part of this historic event showcases the growing international appeal of both Barnsley FC and the EFL.

Off the pitch, our commitment to enhancing the matchday experience continues. Plans for the fanzone and East Stand cladding improvements are progressing, with a pre-application submission imminent. These developments aim to strengthen the bond between the club and its fans.

This Saturday, we’ll celebrate Scarf Day during our match against Birmingham City – a fan-led tradition that’s become a highlight in recent seasons. The sea of red and white scarves creates a powerful, united atmosphere at Oakwell. Bring your scarves, wave them proudly, and let’s show our unwavering support for the team. Together, we’ll make it another unforgettable success.

Let’s push forward together today and make Oakwell roar. Your support is the cornerstone of our success.

Come on you Reds.
