HOYLANDSWAINE dismissed Birstall for 81 in a five-wicket Heavy Woollen Cup win.
Umar Yaqoob took five wickets and M Finan three.
Hoylandswaine 2nd XI chased 118 for an eight-wicket win at Edgerton and Dalton in the Conference. Matt Higgins hit 63 not out off 48 balls with 11 fours.
They then lost by a wicket to Methley 2nd XI in the Crowther Cup after Callum Honeyman made 67 in their 147.
