Athersley Rec beat Pogmoor 6-1 in the Roy Parden Trophy at Doncaster Rovers.
They then beat Premier Division leaders Cobcar - who were playing their last game - 5-0 to move within a point off top with four to play.
Athersley can win the title at Birdwell Rovers on Tuesday.
West Bretton won 4-1 over Darfield Queen Vic in the Supplementary Trophy final on Sunday at Athersley Rec.
Darfield Queen Vic also lost 3-1 to Birdwell Rovers in the Hospital Cup semi-final.

Queens United beat Park View 7-2 in the final game of the Mexborough Sunday League Premier Division – meaning their near neighbours Westville won the Premier Division.
Park View would have finished above Westville, who had completed their games last week, with victory but instead finished third behind the champions and Queens.
