Barnsley’s game at Northampton Town has been rearranged for Tuesday, February 25.

The Reds were due to play at Sixfields on January 11 but the game was called off due to freezing weather.

The match will now be a fifth game in February after a home meeting with Burton Albion, a trip to Stockport then derbies at home to Huddersfield and at Rotherham – all on successive Saturdays.

Meanwhile, midfielder Matty Wolfe has joined Irish club Sligo Rovers.

The 24-year-old spent more than a decade with the Reds, playing 33 first team games, but suffered a serious injury two years ago and has not played since. He signed a new short-term deal last summer and, when it finished, still used the Oakwell facilities to train for much of this season.
