A BARNSLEY mother accused of killing her own baby will return to court next month.
Hayley Macfarlane, of Carrington Street, was charged with the murder of her daughter Evelyn following an incident at Woodhouse Moor Park in Leeds.
She subsequently appeared at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on Saturday where she was required to confirm her age and address.
Macfarlane appeared at Leeds Crown Court yesterday, where a plea and trial preparation hearing date was set for January 25 at the same court.
A provisional trial date has been set for May 13.
The 39-year-old was remanded in custody until her next hearing.
