MANSLAUGHTER charges against two people have been dropped in the investigation into the death of a Barnsley man.
On September 24 Scott Jackson was found unconscious outside the Butchers Arms pub, on High Street in Thurnscoe, and despite the best efforts of medical staff he died in hospital on October 3.
Both Thomas Bushby, 35, and Max Lowson, 26, were charged with manslaughter in October, however these charges were dropped on Tuesday afternoon.
The investigation is ongoing, with a 24-year-old man still on police bail after being arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
