IMOGEN Wolff is set to represent Great Britain at the World Cyclocross Championships this weekend.

The event takes place in Liévin, France from Friday until Sunday.

Imogen is due to take part in the women’s under 23 race on Sunday afternoon.

The 18-year-old from Silkstone Common became a double world champion on the track at junior level last year, and has since stepped up to senior racing with elite team Visma Lease A Bike. She finished third in the British Championships earlier in the month and has also been competing in the UCI World Cup series around Europe.

Imogen is one of the highest-rated young talents in British cycling and wants to compete in the Olympics in the future as well as the classic road races.

Cyclocross is a winter event which is usually held over hilly and muddy courses, with competitors allowed to carry their bikes over difficult terrain.

It is reportedly set to be included in the 2030 Winter Olympics.
