Wombwell Main were the only local team to pick up a point on the road last weekend as they drew 1-1 at Stocksbridge Park Steels Reserves.

Jordan Burman got Main’s goal but goalkeeper Dale Crossland kept the visiting side in it with a string of saves.

Main are currently seventh in the top-flight.

Elsewhere in the Premier Division, Houghton Main went down to a 3-0 loss at Oughtibridge.

North Gawber lost 6-1 at Denaby United.

Penistone Church Reserves drew 2-2 against Hepworth.

Wayne Hughes netted a last-ditch leveller. Jack Lenthall also scored.

Dodworth MW’s home game against Jubilee Sports was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

Division One Athersley Rec Development lost 3-1 against Kiveton Park.

Dearne and District edged out Wombwell Main Reserves in the Sheffield Saturday Cup.

The game finished 1-1 after normal time but Dearne advanced 5-3 on penalties.
