Jasper Moon has completed a permanent move from Barnsley to Burton Albion. for an undisclosed fee, after impressing on loan for them last season.
The 22-year-old centre-back joined the Reds when he was 16 and made 34 first team appearances.
He mostly played in the Championship in the 2021/22 relegation season then did not play in League One last season under Michael Duff.
Barnsley are expected to bring in at least one more centre-back following the exits of Mads Andersen and Bobby Thomas.
