Athersley Rec still have an outside chance of survival in NCEL Division One after a dramatic midweek win.
Lee Garside headed home in injury-time for a 2-1 victory at home to mid-table Dronfield on Tuesday when a draw would have left Rec all-but relegated due to an inferior goal difference.
They are still last, four points from safety with two games to play as they battle a second successive relegation back into the County Senior League which they left in 2012.
They now visit two mid-table sides as they go to Brigg Town on Saturday before completing the campaign at Armthorpe Welfare on Wednesday of next week. They need to win both and hope none of the three sides above them get another win.
On Tuesday, Charlie Auty put Rec ahead but Dronfield levelled early in the second half then Garside won it.
