BARNSLEY businesses which have gone above and beyond by navigating the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic have been urged to put forward their nominations for a prestigious awards night.
Following the success of last year’s Celebration For Business event, Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce is again hoping to recapture the spirit of the community when the awards return on November 4.
Ten different titles are up for grabs for Barnsley-based businesses, as well as an opportunity to build connections and network with local leaders.
Business have until September 16 to put forward their nominations ahead of the event, which takes place at Magna, Rotherham.
Andrew Denniff, chief executive, said: “This year, we’re hoping to build on the success we achieved in 2021 by creating a chance for members of the local business community to come together, reflect on their achievements over the past 12 months and celebrate the achievements of those businesses who have gone above and beyond the call of duty and succeeding in a particularly challenging economic climate.
“Running a business can be tough, and every company which has successfully navigated their way through the Covid-19 pandemic should be proud of their achievements.
“Celebration For Business is one of the largest events we host each year and it will provide an opportunity for local businesses to connect, make new business connections as well as reflecting on their own achievements.
“It promises to be an event not to be missed.”
