BARNSLEY football hero Bethany England has slammed TV pundit Graeme Souness for his recent comments calling the sport a ‘man’s game’.
The 28-year-old, who is from Kingstone, was an unused substitute in each of England’s games this summer as they went on to win the European Championships.
Following a game between Chelsea and Tottenham on Sunday, Souness described football as a ‘man’s game’ - sparking controversy.
The Chelsea striker said: “What a disgraceful thing to say after the summer this country has just seen.”
