Barnsley player Callum Styles came on as a late substitute for Hungary in their 1-0 win over England on Saturday in Budapest.
The 22-year-old was born and bred in England but qualifies for Hungary through his grandmother.
Styles came on for the final eight minutes of the Nations League victory after his side had taken the lead through a second half penalty.
He was on the pitch with John Stones, the Barnsley man who came through the Oakwell academy.
Hungary are now due to visit Italy on Tuesday, host Germany on Saturday then visit England in Wolverhampton on June 14.
