COUNCIL tenants’ rent will increase by 4.1 per cent in the next financial year.
The local authority’s housing revenue account - which was revealed this week - is set to be approved by ruling cabinet members on Wednesday.
It means a three-bedroom house’s weekly rent will increase from £87.66 to £91.25.
A report said: “It’s proposed that rents will be increased in 2022/23 in line with the government’s policy.”
