WORLD-renowned vocal coach and TV talent show judge David Grant will be in Barnsley tomorrow running a vocal workshop with 28 young singers.
David is best-known for his work as judge and vocal coach on the BBC One series Fame Academy but has also coached acts including Take That, The Spice Girls, Demi Lovato, The Saturdays, Marvin Humes, Gwyneth Paltrow, Will Young, and Robbie Williams.
He is being brought to the Civic tomorrow by Barnsley Music Service to lead a vocal workshop for Barnsley singers aged 11 to 18.
Teacher from Barnsley Music Service John Ingman said: “I put out the idea to our vocal tutors that we’d like to put on a workshop like this, and told them ‘aim high with your suggestions’.”
