The grounds of Cannon Hall country park were transformed into a magical winter wonderland of colour as part of the Enchanted event.
As the light dropped, the park came alive for visitors who were able to explore magical passages, enchanting trees and delightful surprises as the woodland took on a new life.
Children and adults alike were captivated by the magical transformation of the popular 'Fairyland' area and surrounding gardens into a winter wonderland of light and sound.
This year visitors were also encouraged to look out for the 'Enchanted Elf' for a special surprise.
Coun Roy Miller said: "Cannon Hall Park and Gardens is a beautiful place to visit at any time of the year, but when it is lit up for the Enchanted event it really is magnificent. It's a magical experience for families and the perfect way get ready for Christmas."
