WE’VE got the trophies, we’ve finalised the winners, so now all that’s left is for you to show up for tonight’s Proud of Barnsley awards.
The massive celebration event will take place at the Metrodome, with fan-favourite hosts Steph Hirst and Steve White getting themselves ready to take to the stage.
Fresh of a return flight from South Africa, Barnsley Youth Choir’s members will be having to unpack their outfits and warm up their vocal chords ahead of what promises to be a spectacular performance.
But the most important guests tonight are the 50 finalists in this year’s awards.
We’ve had an astounding response from the public this year, receiving a record-breaking number of nominations and for the first time ever opening up voting to the public, with around 12,000 votes cast.
No matter what happens tonight, everyone who’s been nominated deserves praise and respect.
