WORSBROUGH Bridge are due to host Wombwell Town in an all-Barnsley clash tonight from 7.45pm.
Town are third while Bridge will look for a sixth straight win.
Worsbrough manager Lee Morris said: “It should be a really big crowd which is excellent for the club.
“Hopefully both teams put on a good game and it’s a good advert for non-league football in Barnsley.
“Wombwell Town are up there for a reason, they are a very good team.
“Five weeks go they might have thought this would be a walkover but they might not think that now.
“We go into it thinking we can attack anybody and, if we do what we can do and we limit them, it could be a cracking game.”
Wombwell Town manager Karl Rose added: “We’re looking forward to it.
“Worsbrough are on fire. Any time you go into a local derby, it will be tough and hard.
“They have hit good form after a bad start. They are the form side, scoring goals and looking dangerous going forward. We have to be absolutely on our mettle to compete in that game.
“Hopefully there is a big crowd there. It’s great that all the Barnsley teams are doing well.”
Bridge won 3-0 at home to Swallownest on Saturday. Jake Squires, Lewis O’Connor and Owen Birks netted.
They are now 15th with 19 points from 14 games. After not winning any of their first nine league games, they have won five in a row throughout October.
Morris said: “No matter what level you’re playing at, five wins out of five is a great achievement. Long may it continue.
“We take it one game at time but, if we win our games in hand, we will be a point behind some of the teams in the play-offs – daft as that seems after our start. We have seven games in November which is a big month.
“We’ll keep going and see where it takes us. I would like to think we’re moving in right direction.”
