Boxing prospect Dempsey Wale moved to 12 fights unbeaten on Saturday night at the Metrodome.
The Brampton lightweight, younger brother of show's promoter Josh, earned a 60-53 win over Punjab fighter Lovepreet.
Wale was in charge of the contest from the outset with a strong jab and a variety of punches getting through.
By the final round Lovepreet's unconventional tactics were starting to really irk both Wale and referee Darren Sarginson.
The away man had turned away from the action a few times but once Wale stepped up the pace he really did not want to know and was given a point deduction by Sarginson.
The contest ended full-blooded with both men firing from the hip before the final bell.
Wale will return to action at the same venue on November 23.
The show ended with a shock result with Bradford's previously unbeaten Mohammed Subhaan, a highly-rated prospect, stopped by Mexican Ramiro Garcia Lopez.
Lopez, who is part of the Wale stable at Brampton, had had to dig in to even take the fight to the fifth round but he soon turned it in his favour with Subhaan saved by the bell moments after his knees had dipped from a big attack.
Subhaan was then down twice heavily in the sixth and on unsteady legs when Sarginson stepped in.
There were easier wins for home fighters with Josh Sandland (Halifax) beating Jake Darnell (Blackpool) 40-36 and Jake Turner (Halifax) easing by Naeem Ali (Blackburn) 40-36.
Sheffielder Jay Castledine won his debut by the same margin against Tewkesbury's Shane Smith and Tommy Sams (Doncaster) winning all four rounds against Dale Kellam (Rotherham). As did Brandon Pickup (Wakefield) against Perry Howe (Sheffield).
Former Barnsley Star Amateur Boxing Club representative Red Johnson, from Sheffield, got a 40-36 verdict against Latvian Edgars Sniedze.
There were closer contests for Dom Hunt (Wakefield) who recovered from a knockdown to beat Joe Hardy (Leeds) 58-55.
Lewis Sylvester (Hull) edged out Owen Durnan (Sheffield) 59-56 and Ellie Hellewell (Doncaster) got a 39-38 win over Eftychia Kathopouli (Aberdeen).
