TWO Barnsley brothers have been jailed for a combined six years for their involvement in the mass disorder in Manvers.
Paul Sissons, 37, of Two Gates Way in Shafton, had no choice but to hand himself in to Churchfields Police Station after his face was branded over social media following a force appeal.
Body-worn video footage showed Paul violently and aggressively attacking a police officer, kicking and shoving their shield.
He was joined by his 34-year-old brother Luke, of The Green View in Shafton, who was seen launching a violent, disgraceful attack on a van carrying two officers and a police dog, leaving them fearing for their safety.
He was also found to have been shouting racist abuse at those who were inside the hotel.
Both brothers pleaded guilty to violent disorder on August 13 at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court.
They stood together in the docks last Friday as the judge sentenced them both to three years for violent disorder and gave them a ten-year criminal behaviour order.
