FOUR sets of brothers appeared for Barnsley Woolley Miners as they won by 107 runs at Monk Bretton in Division Three West of the Barnsley Sunday League.

The brothers are Freddie and Harry Egginton, Max and Oliver Heseltine, Hayden and Finlay Parker-Wake and Vinnie and Freddie Chapman. All are aged 18 or under while Hayden is only 13. Oliver Heseltine hit 94 off 63 balls with 19 fours then Freddie Chapman added 56 in Barnsley’s 241. Freddie Egginton then took four wickets. A Robinson had taken three for the Monks.

Curtis Coles took five for 11 as Thurgoland dismissed Bradfield for 167 in a six-wicket win.

Cawthorne made 231 then removed Higham for 81.

Rockingham fell 38 runs short chasing 228 at Sheffield Collegiate in Division One. Lasith Lakshan hit a run-a-ball 72.

West Bretton chased 268 for a four-wicket win over Brodsworth Main in Division Two. Myles Wood made 88 off 38 balls with ten fours and seven sixes while D Hoyle added 68 not out off 56.

Worsbrough Bridge fell 11 runs short chasing 156 at home to Scholes and Harley. Tom Wade took four for ten.
