BARNSLEY’S biggest employers have been handed the prestigious South Yorkshire Be Well At Work Gold Award.
GXO and Barnsley Premier Leisure picked up the award, which provides businesses with a framework to provide good workplace health.
GXO started developing their health and wellbeing programme eight years ago and has gone from strength to strength in embedding health and wellbeing best practices across the organisation’s culture.
A spokesperson for the company said: “The award is a testimony to our steadfast commitment to maintaining our position as an employer of choice in Barnsley.
