ALL pools at the Metrodome will close for most of March for improvement works including the building of an additional swimming pool.
The new 20m teaching pool will be created alongside the competition pool, freeing up the toddler pool to be converted into an interactive parent and toddler zone.
New beach-style flooring will be laid around the wave pool and the changing rooms will be refurbished - an ‘all family’ changing area will replace the existing male and female areas.
The wet side will be closed from February 26 reopening on March 24. The rest of the complex will remain open, with the bowling alley reopening tomorrow after being closed this week for refurbishment.
