WOMBWELL High Street has had a burst of colour with the opening of Briony’s Gift.

Darron and Meayla Woodward run the charity shop which is decked out in pink in memory of their daughter Briony, who died aged three in 2007 from neuroblastoma, a form of childhood cancer.

The charity raises money for children suffering with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.

They are holding an open day on November 28 with face painting and balloon modelling.
