HARRY Steeple’s hat-trick ensured he stole some of the limelight off his Wombwell Main boss Terry Simon.
Simon celebrated his 250th game in charge of Main and the club held a day in his honour as they hosted Silkstone United.
Steeple’s treble did the damage as they edged the Premier League contest 4-3.
Ryan Wingrove also scored for Wombwell who are now unbeaten in six and in fourth place.
Silkstone’s goals came from William Heath’s brace and Richard Dey.
They are tenth in the table.
