Worsbrough Bridge continued their excellent form with a 6-2 victory over Athersley Rec which saw them go them above their neighbours in the NCEL Division One table.
Bridge are unbeaten in ten with eight wins in the league. Rec have lost six in a row.
Worsbrough are ninth, four points off the play-offs.
Josh Brown, Keelan Grist and Lewis O’Connor put Bridge 3-0 up after 26 minutes but Nathan Perks and Harrison Landon made it 3-2.
Lloyd Smith netted a fourth for the hosts before the break then a late flourish was added by Connor Glavin and Grist.
Wombwell Town lost 4-1 at home to Brigg Town.
Gavin Allott put them ahead at the break but they conceded four times in the second half.
Brigg overtook Town who are down to fourth.
Penistone Church drew 2-2 at home to Bottesford Town in the Premier Division.
The relegation-battlers went 2-0 up but Wayne Hughes scored twice including in the 90th minute.
Church are now fourth with 35 points from 22 of their 38 games this season.
They are a point clear in the top five play-off places.
They do not play until visiting Winterton Rangers on December 14.
