Another player from the Barnsley FC academy has been called up to an England squad.

Josh Kenchington, who plays for his hometown club at under 14s level, has been selected for an England under 15s training camp.

The centre-back, who will be 14 later this month and is six foot one, has been in the Oakwell academy for two years after coming through the Barnsley Boys system and playing for the Momentous Academy. The Horizon school pupil is known as a ball-playing and both-footed centre-back.

That follows the success of 15-year-old Oliver Wilkinson who has captained England under 16s and made his debut for Barnsley in the EFL Trophy in August.
