WORTLEY were the only Barnsley rugby union team to win this week in the Yorkshire Leagues.
They won 10-5 at Knottingley in Division Four.
George Peacock scored a try with Luke Jagger adding a conversion and penalty.
Wortley are now due to host Sheffield Medicals on Saturday.
Dearne Valley suffered their first defeat at Yorkshire Division Four level as they were beaten 47-8 by Sheffield Medicals in a top of the table clash.
Dearne are still top but just three points clear of Medicals who have a game in hand. They are not due to play again until November 9.
Wath suffered a third straight defeat in Yorkshire Division One – going down 29-21 at Bridlington.
Oliver Winstanley, Sean Hopper and Arran Tasker scored tries – all converted by Jack Whitlam.
Wath, who had won their first four games of the season, are now sixth.
They are due to host bottom club Wensleydale on Saturday.
Barnsley suffered a fifth straight loss as they went down 68-12 at high-flying Leeds Corinthians in Yorkshire Division Three.
The Shaw Laners have now lost six out of seven this season.
They are second-bottom in the table, six points off safety.
Barnsley now have a weekend off before hosting Burley fourth-bottom Burley on November 2.
Barnsley Ladies host Kenilworth on Sunday in the Championship North One.
