Gunthwaite Olympian Becky Moody will be bringing a bronze medal back home after her dressage team secured third spot in Saturday's Grand Prix finale.

The 44-year-old was travelling reserve for Team GB but was drafted into the team at the eleventh hour following the exit of Charlotte Dujardin.

She contributed a PB score of 76.489 on her horse Jagerbomb to put her teammates in a strong position to challenge for the medals.

A score of 76.520 from Carl Hester and Lottie Fry's stunning 79.483 was enough to ensure a medal with just two teams left to go in the competition.

Both Denmark and then Germany got the scores they needed to bump GB down into third.

GB were well clear of fourth-placed Netherlands.

Becky does not have much time to celebrate as she enters the individual finale tomorrow.
