HOYLANDSWAINE have gone back to the top of the Huddersfield Premiership while some of their players have been involved in international cricket.

Ben Kohler-Cadmore has been playing for Germany in qualifiers for the 2026 Twenty20 World Cup while Pakistan international Kamran Ghulam has been playing for his country’s A team in Australia.

Ghulam is Swaine’s overseas player this season. He has played just six times and only been dismissed once, scoring 244 runs.

Kohler-Cadmore, the former Northamptomshire 2nd XI player, is Swaine’s top-scorer this season with 469 runs at an average of 43.

He is the brother of former Yorkshire batter Tom.

Swaine bowled out Kirkburton for 144 in a five-wicket win.

Umer Yaqoob took four wickets and Max Morley three then, after Swaine were 74 for five, Jack Seddon hit 62 not out off 37 balls with nine fours and three sixes.

Having dropped down to third after their first league loss of the season last week, they are now two points clear at the top at the halfway stage of the campaign.

Hoylandswaine 2nd XI removed Thurstonland for 42 in an eight-wicket Conference win.

T Chippendale took six wickets and S Ur-Rehman four.
