A CHESTERFIELD man has pleaded guilty to throwing an object at Reform UK leader Nigel Farage in Barnsley town centre earlier this month.
Josh Greally, of Damsbrook Drive in Clowne, had been charged with using threatening, abusive, insulting words and behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke unlawful violence following the incident in the town centre.
The 28-year-old pleaded guilty to the charge at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday).
He will return to the same court on August 28 for sentencing and was granted unconditional bail.
