FOUR Barnsley gymnasts took home gold at a competition.
Finlay Parr, ten, Ellie-Mae Harrison, Lloyd Taylor, both 12 and Lauren Ellis, 13, each won the gold medal in their categories at the Yorkshire Tumbling NDP Qualification at the Metrodome.
Finlay’s mum Nicky said: “They have each come away with gold which means they will be going to the national semi-finals in June, in Birmingham.
“Tumbling is where they go down a track and then perform moves such as flips and twists, rather than using gymnastic equipment such as rings.”
All four train at Wakefield Gymnastics Club.
