A DYING man has set out a plan to see out his lifetime ambition of creating an app for music lovers.
Cancer sufferer Russell Walton, 57, is determined to not let his illness get in the way of him finishing his creation, UK Sounds, which has been his project for the last 15 years.
Despite it being on the back burner due to his terminal disease - which was discovered in his oesophagus earlier this year and has spread to his liver and lungs - the former computer programmer is set to pour more time into the app which he wants to become a flourishing Facebook-style page that can be downloaded by music aficionados on all Windows 10 devices.
Russell, of Thicket Lane, Worsbrough Dale, said: “The idea of the app has always been to simply bring people together through their love of music. Users can create chat messages about any artist or band, review albums, define their top 10 favourite all-time albums and their 50 favourite artists.”
