ROYSTON residents have launched a petition calling for urgent road safety measures to be introduced on a busy road before someone is killed.
The volume of traffic along Midland Road in Royston has seen a dramatic increase with around 350 new homes being built over recent years.
Jimmy Elliott, who has lived on Midland Road for the past 20 years, has launched the petition.
The petition says that in the interest of road safety residents want to see pelican crossings and speed cameras installed on Midland Road.
