MEET Buttons the hedgehog who is looking for a safe place to hibernate this winter.
Buttons was rescued as a baby after being found in Cudworth and given a safe home at Hogwarts Hedgehog Hospital in Monk Bretton.
He will be safely curling up to sleep in a specially prepared bed over the next few days and not waking up until spring.
But many wild hedgehogs are not so lucky and Janet Mason, who runs the rescue hospital has issued a timely warning to all animal lovers to think about the prickly mammals as Bonfire Night and winter approach.
