POLICE have named a man who was killed in a road accident on the outskirts of Barnsley last week.
Father-of-three Michael Fieldhouse, 37 died last Tuesday when his motorcycle was in collision with a tractor.
The accident happened on the A637 Huddersfield Road near Haigh at around 7.40pm.
Michael, formerly of Derwent Crescent, Athersley South, was travelling along with a second motorcyclist, towards Bretton Mill Farm when he was in collision with a trailer being pulled by the tractor.
He died at the scene.
Floral tributes along with a bottle of brandy and a Coca Cola bottle with a dad label upon it, have been left by the roadside.
Sgt Ann Drury, from West Yorkshire Police's Major Collision Enquiry Team, has appealed for witnesses to contact DC Noel Lowdon on 101.
