BARNSLEY'S Calypso Cove Waterpark is a top destination according to reviewers on the world's largest travel website, TripAdvisor.
Calypso Cove, which is located within Barnsley's Metrodome, was awarded a certificate of excellence by the site after being named as one of its top performing visitor destinations after consistently receiving outstanding reviews.
The waterpark is currently has a TripAdvisor rating of between 4.5 and five, with over 100 visitor reviews ranking it as either 'very good' or 'excellent.'
The website uses an algorithm to decide who should be awarded with a certificate of excellence.
The calculation takes into account reviews ratings and businesses must maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five in the majority of recent reviews.
Additional criteria include how long a business has been operating for and its popularity ranking on the site.
