A BARNSLEY vets is offering a unique treatment for animals - hydrotherapy.
Rox, from Clarney Place, Darfield has been having treatment at Barnsley Vets4Pets after she injured her knees last December.
She is now receiving treatment on a treadmill in a tank of water as the water lessens the impact on the joints.
Reception supervisor Louise Harrington said: "Rox loves her hydro sessions and I usually get lots of kisses when she comes in and her tail wags lots."
Vets4Pets on Wilthorpe Road is even using hydrotherapy to treat a cat. Among the patients is Rufus (Davis), a two-year-old domestic short-haired cat, who had the 'ball' removed from his hip socket.
