Kes star Dai Bradley has signed a book for fan Joanne Spensley.
Joanne came to Hoyland Library to hear Dai talk about the 1969 film he starred in as Billy Casper.
Dai's visit was part of the Made in Hoyland and The Hoyland Big Read event taking place at the library this month.
The film and A Kestrel for a Knave, which it was based upon, both take influence from Hoyland and the surrounding area.
Various scenes from the film were shot in the locality and author of the novel Barry Hines, was a former teacher at Kirk Balk School.
Made in Hoyland and The Hoyland Big Read runs until March 28 promote Hoyland and the surrounding area.
